Inspiration for bringing Hanuman Mandir to Houston Area – Pandit Mishraji, former chief priest of Hindu Worship Society of Houston Texas, visited India in 2019 and got an opportunity to visit the Hanuman temple in Uttaranchal run through the blessings of late “Shri Neem Karoli Baba” at his Ashram in Kainchi Dham. He spent some time devoting himself to several worships including a Valmiki Sundar- Kaand path (7 hours of continuous chanting). Blessings of Hanuman ji inspired him to bring a Hanuman Mandir in Greater Houston. He prayed to Hanuman ji to manifest this vision for the good of Houston area Hindus and indeed Divine grace has brought life to Pandit Mishra Ji’s vision. He is the Founder of this Mandir working with a core team to create the Mandir and the infrastructure. The temple seek support from the generous Hindu community for the upcoming ground breaking ceremony and the construction of various parts of the Mandir..

English Translation – All beings are evolved from food; production of food is dependent on rain; rain ensues from sacrifice*, and sacrifice is rooted in prescribed action. Know that prescribed action has its origin in the Vedas, and the Vedas proceed from the Indestructible (God); hence the all-pervading, Infinite is always present in Sacrifice.

*Sacrifice here means Yajnas
