Welcome to the Hanuman Mandir of Greater Houston

A new and very First Hanuman Temple is opening soon in Brookshire, Katy, West Houston area to serve the Greater Houston, Texas Hindu Community. The Temple is planned under “Hanuman Mandir of Greater Houston”, a Non-Profit Organization with Fed ID# 47-4867906. The land for this auspicious project was purchased on October 1st, 2019, during the Navratri time.

First major event, Groundbreaking (Bhoomi Pooja) ceremony, completed successfully on (विक्रम सम्वत्सर-२०७७,शक सम्वत्सर-१९४२,कार्तिक पूर्णिमा) November 29th, 2020.

The temple is being planned to offer a wide spectrum of Services. Conducting Worships/Vedic rituals, Prayers, Yoga & Dharmik Classes for kids/adults, and Festival celebrations- These all will only be possible with your financial and participation support.

Currently, work is in progress for Ground development and Architectural planning. Donation to your best ability is greatly appreciated. Please take this humble request sincerely.

The inspiration to bring a “Hanuman Mandir” to the Houston area came to Pandit Mishraji, former chief priest of Hindu Worship Society of Houston Texas, during his visit to Northern India in 2019. He is steering this project with help of a core group of Volunteers.

Hanuman Mandir and Infrastructure construction and operation will require significant community support and participation. We urge you to donate generously to start the construction process and keep in touch with us through this website for updates.
